Default Reggae + Bluegrass = something wonderful!

here's an example of Reggae and Bluegrass combined... beautiful stuff...

DREW EMMITT BAND- Beat Of The World

THE WAILERS Ft SAM BUSH- Lively Up Yourself (Sam Bush is a legendary bluegrass musician who helped started combining bluegrass with different forms of music)

HOT BUTTERED RUM ft RAILROAD EARTH- Small Axe (orig by Bob Marley)
-check out Sam Bush's electric mandolin... Bill Monroe might be jealous hehehe

bluegrass/country and reggae are not really that far from each other...

here's a country artists collaborating with a reggae artist...

if dili mo nahan bluegrass try newgrass or progressive bluegrass.. Artists like Nickel Creek, Tony Trichska, Sam Bush, Cadillac Sky, Infamous Stringdusters, Punch Brothers, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Bela Fleck (solo), Steppin' In It, Hot Rize, Charlie Haden (jazz bassist ni sya pero iya latest is bluegrass album), and New Grass Revival,

or di gani minaw mo Iron Horse and Cornbread Red. They have albums of bluegrass renditions of songs from Linkin Park, Green Day, Offspring, NewFound Glory, Metallica, etc...

OT heheh nag unsa man ko didto? nya nag unsa pod ka didto?

Payter man jud ang bluegrass. from bluegrass to newgrass (Bill Monroe to Nickel Creek) and even their roots which is the old timey string band sound (whos roots go back to the celtic sounds of the 18th century and below) payter pod...

Naa mga new bands na ila style ky old timey string band such as Uncle Earle (produced by John Paul Jones of Led Zep), Uncle Monk (with Tommy Ramone of The Ramones on mandolin/vocals), Red Molly, Old Crow Medicine Show, Furnace Mountain, and etc...

naa pod artists that combines bluegrass, newgrass, jazz, and classical like fiddler/violinist Mark O'Connor, bassist Edgar Meyer, mandolinist/vocalist Chris Thile, banjoist Bela Fleck, banjoist/vocalist Abigail Washburn (of Uncle Earle), mandolinist/vocalist Sam Bush, guitarist/vocalist Tony Rice, banjoist Earl Scruggs, banjoist Steve Martin (yes the comedian), cellist Yo-Yo Ma, pianist Chic Corea, bassist Charlie Haden (whos latest album is pure bluegrass), guitarist/mandolinist/vocalist Vince Gill, and the late mandolinist Jethro Burns.

some are combining rock with punk energy into bluegrass such as Elvis Costello (his new album), The Avett Brothers, .357 String Band, Chatam County Line, King Wilkie, Augustana (during their live concert ra dili sa album), and occasionally Green Day (kato ila indie days. I think sa second album nila naa kanta ato nga bluegrass. that's the album before the warner bros Dookie)
