Its how people interpret the Bible when it becomes already against Science.
Take for example the life of Galileo, Copernicus, and Kepler. Galileo was lucky that the pope was very fond of him. But still, Galileo was put under house arrest until he grow old. Imagine you will be locked inside your house for the rest of your life just because you have studies that people think is contradicting the Bible. It is good that those things now don't happen anymore because people have changed their culture. They do not cling to the Bible that much anymore.
So have you stopped clinging to the Bible today?
