Armed men killed an employee of the LBC branch in Mandaue City during a heist Monday morning, the city police chief said. Superintendent Orlando Ualat said the stickup occurred at around 8:40 a.m. inside the LBC Express Inc. office located in a busy commercial district on M.C. Briones Highway. Two armed men entered the establishment and declared a holdup while two others served as lookout, he said. All suspects were on board two motorcycles.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspects, armed with a caliber 45 pistol, were able to take only P2,000 in cash, even as they killed Eugenio Agmata, LBC’s customer associate, Ualat said. Ualat said the victim resisted when they suspects demanded for the money. Police are now looking for the suspects as witnesses have identified the plate number of the motorcycles used.
