Naa ako sister Samsung na HDD 160gb naka partition as follow
c: 70 ntfs (system)
d: 70 ntfs (data)
e: 10 ntfs (pagefile)

Possible ba na ang c: nga partition ra ang ma guba dili na ma bootable? anyone experience this?
Nag error siya sulod sa Windows something like "invalid endpoint" nya mag sige siya og check disk sa c:
so ako g format NTFS dili gyud ma format dugay kaayo so ako format as FAT32 then reinstall karon dili na siya mo boot mag check disk ghapon kada boot.

best solution nimo ana bro is full re partition the hardisk then format nasad then install the OS..am bootable mankaha na imong OS installer bro..

sakto si reypapz.. try backing-up the files sa.. then, i-repartition the whole disk.. kanang wala na'y C: D: og E:... then create new partition para didto mo-install imu OS.

after installation of OS, use Partition Magic para ma-adjust nimo ang partition while running Windows.

the reason you have partitions is to separate your data files from your system files. partition C:/ is where your systems files are, so even if C: is messed up, the other partitions are not affected. but if you get infected by a virus, the other partitions can also be affected.
the C: partition is usually where the MBR resides, so if C: is screwed, you won't be able to boot.
you should boot from the XP/Vista CD and reformat your C: partition using FULL FORMAT, and reinstall the OS.

so my suggestion so to buy small capacity SATA HDD and use it as ure OS disk alone. u can then have ure other files on other disk.

And another thing about partition based on my experience, naa pud reason sige sya ug scandisk, kay naa na diay badsector. Ang naka apan pud anang 1 Drive then naka partition, then uban importante nga files tua sa partition, then something bad happen sa HD, tabla tanan. Sa Pc nako 2 HD and 1DVDRW safe na para nako.

For my Partition Management, I use Acronis Partition Expert.

guba gyud siya ako na g scan gamit ang utility sa samsung para ma low level format. naa daghan bad sector + mag hagtik hagtik siya. pwede ba ma rma ang samsung na hdd same sa seagate?
