    L1Technician is right! if your router is N and your computer N capable then you can achieved N connection. But it doesn't mean that if you have G computer you can't connect to N router, yes you can!!, if you configure your router to "mix mode" which is the default mode of most router then, you can still connect using G connectivity.

    what's the big deal, 802.11n is backwards compatible with legacy 802.11g, 802.11b, & 802.11a
    you can just upgrade your wireless nic to 802.11n later on

    mga master unsaon nako pag pa-taas sa ako DL speed. Mura mag nihinay ako DL speed pagbutang nakog wireless router ganiha. Linksys G ako wifi router. thanks kaayo.

    1. Are you sure anang 1.5m concrete wall? as in pure cemento?
    2. If thats the case i suggest placing the wireless router outside of the room, like a sala or a place near both room.

    That should get you a stable signal for both rooms even if its G signal only. Good luck!

    kayasa pod anang 2meters thick nga wall oi.
    para nako ok raman bisag unsa nga router pero akong gamit ky Dlink.
    ibutang na lang sa open area imong router bro para equally spread ang signal.
