nope kay before mo attempt ug boot from hard drive, mangayo ang system ug password sa hard drive, same with reformatting; after POST, mo ask dayun ang system ug HD password.

.. nag work ko sa DELL...
pm lang nko ang service tag kay tagaan tika sa password...
dli nako ma hatag dri ka internal man ang among tools..
kung mo chat/tawag ka sa dell mangau na sila ug verification sa account before sila mka reset sa password ...
makita nimo ang service tag sa bottom sa laptop..
kung wala na ang sticker, sa bios makita na..

ryt. diassembly your lappy and remove the cmos batt and put it back again.

for dell laptops, removing cmos battery will not clear any passwords.
