Yeah but he's part of the Autobot now. However, he sacrificed his life for the Autobots that's why he let Optimus Prime uses his jet pack. Bati-an lang ko nya kay tiguwang pa jud siya and bati kaau ya alternate mode compared to Starcream, Blackout, and The Fallen.

^^ correct! so technically, jetfire is a decepticon who just switched side! dagko jd ang mga decepticons and more equipped! but this only goes to show nga not all victories are a result of how gigantic or powerful you are but on how witty and smart you play the game!!! way to go TRANSFORMERS! coming right up, TRANSFORMERS 3, hehe...

Jetfire is found by Sam and Simmons at the National Air and Space Museum after Wheelie pinpointed the general location of the ancient Seeker. Sam reactivates him with an Allspark fragment, waking him up from his stasis. After a misunderstanding when the human saw his Decepticon insigna, Jetfire uses a Space Bridge to teleport Sam and friends to Egypt, explaining the origin of the Primes-who he seems to have a certain type of respect for-and the Matrix. Learning of Optimus Prime's existence and death, Jetfire leaves them to find the Matrix which he reveal can revive Optimus. He arrives late in the final battle in Cairo, killing Mixmaster with his battle axe before being attacked and badly wounded by Scorponok. After killing Scorponok and witnessing Optimus return to life, he rips out his spark, sacrificing himself in order to let Optimus use his parts to defeat The Fallen.
