    Default Cheap Performance

Just sharing. I got Pentium E5200 and an ASUS Board, P5KPL-AM/PS.. nice dark pcb board.

well i did some tweaking.. so first thing i did was try to OC, well I just got this chip to run at from 2.5 to 3.33Ghz (266x12.5) no sweat. and seems to be prime95 stable and yet cool to touch... just keep ur ram at 667Mhz, i don't know why it wont POST at DDR2-800, too few bios options though. a couple of sticks should not make any much slower than ddr2-800

see that's cheap performance. highly recommended. peace!

This is just to demonstrate what u get right away with this kind of system. not really making it to top the benchies.. so 3.33G Wolfdale is kind of sweet. stock voltage only

pretty cheap rig. even using an old hd

drop the multiplier to 10, set the front-side bus to 333 add the voltage required for your processor, add a little voltage to your MCH and FSB VTT and you have 1:1 FSB DRAM ratio (ddr2-667) or you can use the divider 5:6 and you get DDR2-800.

if you can make the processor grow some more l2 cache, it becomes the E8500.

sadly the mobo don't support divider settings ...
    i tried 333x9 if i remember with ddr2 667 and ddr2 800--no avail.
tried 266x7, ddr2-800 just to check... --no avail..
i won't play with voltages for now.. hehe

i didn't any much higher than 3.33 but i know the chip is capable of 4Ghz. i just stayed at stock 2.5ghz.. i dont need the extra speed for now anyway.. maybe when i feel getting behind already... i will push this one hahha

    thanks

it didn't work because the MCH and FSB VTT needs voltages. once you have the courage later on, you'll find out that the board si capable of delivering those speeds pero you need to adjust voltages -- its the only way.

post some screenshots beh as proof -- everest and cpu-z. para ma-alegre ang thread.

    nice one
thats what u get if u hav the courage to OC
for sure youll end up tweaking ur voltage settings in the future
