hybrid, please clarify ur statement. maybe theres an ip address conflict sa imo pc. nka network na imo mga pc? please clarify. give me details, and a diagram how ur pc is connected to a network w/ ur modem router. thnks

yes, mahitabo sad na cya bro. kng ang imu network computers nagsagol ug dynamic ug static addressing, ka2ng modem router nana to auto dhcp server. it assigns ip add from 10.0.0.xx to the computers connected sa network, if and ka2ng dynamic addressing naka una ug log in sa network, dhcp server wud assign d lower ip add value, w/c is 10.0.0.1, if naay static, nya iya ip kay same sa 10.0.0.1, so conflict dyud. nkasuway ko in ani na event, ky gtapulan man kug type ug 192.xxx.xxx.xxx. thnks!

yep, mas mu prefer ko ug static for performance, the computer needs not to auto-discover ip address when it boots up in windows. usa pa dli ka maglisud ug test sa mga comps add kun mag diagnose ka sa imu netwrk using net commands, ping, etc. thnks! im n a hurry, bye!

same here have this unstable connection problem my download connection always disconnect, what could be the problem of this, are they upgraded this system or too much subscribers? anyone globeline personnel out there?

The Speedtouch modem is configured to cater a Class C network (254 users) on the subscriber side. Usually its 10.0.0.n/24 network. The router is configured with IP address of 10.0.0.138 though.

In my case, i place a firewall behind the modem for additional protection. This makes the 10.0.0.n/24 network that is provided by globe as my DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Behind my firewall, its where i configured my private network for my home PC. Though it appears to large a network for home use, i have enough internal IP address to play with.

Just check out your connectivity. Try pinging it from host to gateway to next hop. Do also tracert so you'll know where your traffic gets dropped.
