ang con. ass ron nga gi duso sa congress. is going on a PROCESS man pod. so, dont worry, supreme court is handling this issure already. and we all know that, supreme court is a seperate entity in the government. kanang mga nag protesta dha, they were just influence by those senators nga mahadlok mawa ilang posisyon if ever ma pasar ang constitutional ammendments. I AM IN FAVOR OF CHANGING OUR CONSTITUTIONS. it would be great to our country. why?

    here are my reasons.

    1. 4 years term nalng ang prime minister. even congres can terminate him anytime.
    2. lawmakers can pass easily laws kay 1 nalng ang house nga magbuhat ug balaod.
    3. senate is abolished. ala may gamit.
    4. lawmakers can serve properly thier constiutent, dli pareha sa mga senator nga cge lang pagwapo..!

even though balik2x ang atoang president dili nata ma apiktohan sa budget nila kay wala naman ang senado. the funding generated by the regions will be there own and not brought to the national government. meaning ang ma collecta nga tax sa cebu city, cebu city ray mogasto dili na mo adto sa makati or manila. or gamay nalang ang percentage mo adto sa national government unlike sa present.

i think the problem is peple dont know how parliamentray form of government work side by side with our political and social culture...

maganda lang yung parlliamentary form of government if the poeple have reached a high level of political maturity and awareness. which i doubt many filipinos have reached...

in a parliamentray form of government party system and party poltics is very important.. poltical parties in the philippines are based on personality and not based on ideologies...

so please pwede tigilan ang parliamentary na yan... federalism sounds better... at may sense kesa jan...

by the way there are many types of parliamentary government kanang parehas sa England or kang parehas sa ITaly na hybrid.. kamo lang research.. basta ang botomline importan gihapon ang political parties...

in a parliamentray form of government it would be easier for the PM to stay in power as long as he has the vote of confidence of the whole party... so if we have parliamentary form of government right now and the type of congressmen we have as Pmmbers.. hello forever na si GMA as PM...

id like to point out that our constituion is made that way daghan safeguard ug safety nets kay para dili mabalik sa una ang gibuhat ni MArcos... remmeber Bagong LIpunan and BAtasang PAmbansa...

we can do that with just revising the constituiton and not ammending it... revision and ammending the costi are diff...

respetohan sad na ang opinion sa ubang tawo, discussion board baya ni ang istorya. diretso man lang sad ka judge na bogo ang usa ka tawo. kabalo ka unsa imo gipagawas? mas bogo ka sa imong gisaway.

kung federalism ang imo pasabot, hunahunaa lang pod na kung federal na ta, mag create na ug federal states, in other words, we are creating another layer of bureacracy in the different states and imagine unsa na kadaku ang requirement for salaries of new people.
usa pa, this will create more political dynasties.
