You got a point in that. What the Filipinos should do is go beyond the symbols. I think that's the point Hozenyan is trying to convery. We should do much more concrete like obeying a simple rule as traffic rules and some ordinances for cleanliness drive. That will make us more patriotic.

kapangyarihan sa pagitan ng mga partido, patuloy na pagdami ng tamad at tangang Pilipino, patuloy na pakikipaglaban ng ideolohiyang wala namang silbi.

Ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas, talo pa ang septic tank na hinihigop ng Malabanan - saksakan ng dumi at napakabaho. Kaya hindi nakakapagtaka na ang Pilipinas ang isa sa pinakamahirap at corrupt na bansa sa mundo. Kasi lahat sila bulok, lahat sila walang kwenta. Lahat sila sugapa

Tuwing nakikita ko ang payslip ko, nag-iinit ang ulo ko at gusto kong maiyak sa inis. Napakalaki ng tax na binabawas sa akin pero ginagamit lang sa walang kwentang bagay ang perang pinaghirapan ko.

Lahat ng pagtitipid ginagawa ko para suportahan ang sarili ko, pamilya ko at ang punyetang bansang to. Ni hindi ako makabili ng chicken and spaghetti meal sa Jollibee kahit gutom na gutom na ko. Nag-tya-tyaga ako sa waffle na tig-P10, o kaya pag may konting pera, junior bola-bola siopao sa Mini-Stop sa halangang P20.

Eh kung yung pera ko na pinapangbabayad sa tax sa kin na lang napunta, eh di sana nakakapanood pa ko ng sine at least 2 beses sa isang buwan. Nakabili na sana ako ng bagong rubber shoes. Nakapagpagawa na sana ako ng sarili kong bahay.

Yung tax na binabayad ko, karamihan nun derecho sa bulsa ng mga corrupt na mga government officials at workers. Habang hirap na hirap akong i-budget ang pera ko, sila naman nagpapakasarap sa mga mansyon. SUV’s at luxury cars pa ang dina-drive nila, samantalang ako sa pedicab lang sumasakay!

P****** INA! PERA KO YANG PINAPAGPAPASASAAN NYO!!!!!

Yung tax na binabayad ko, pinapangsuporta sa mga mahihirap. Saan ba galing ang pera pangpagawa ng housing at pagtulong sa mga mahihirap, di ba sa mga manggagawa na nagbabayad ng buwis! Pero karamihan ng mahihirap, kung umasta kala mo inaapi sila ng sobra.

Hangga’t hindi nagkakaron ng radical change, patuloy na walang kwenta ang Pilipinas at patuloy na magiging tanga ang majority ng mga Pilipino.

Sa dami ng nag-mi-migrate na Pilipino sa ibang bansa, dadating ang panahon na minority na lang ng population sa Pilipinas ang may utak. Yung mga magagaling na Pilipino, malamang maubos na. Sobra na kasi silang na-fru-frustrate at na-de-depress sa mga nakikita nila.

Ilang taon pa at aalis na rin ako sa Pilipinas. Wala kong balak na magkaron ng pamilya sa isang bansa na hindi pinapahalagahan ang kontribusyon ng mga taong tunay na bumubuhay dito. Kawawa naman ang magiging anak ko kung dito sya mabubuhay.

Sa totoo lang, broken hearted ako. Minahal ko din ang bansang ito. Pilit kong pinagtatanggol kahit bulok. Nakarating na ko ng ibang bansa, pero pinili kong bumalik. Pero ngayon, ayoko na. Suko na ko. Sayang lang ako sa bansang to. Simple lang naman ang hiling ko. Gusto ko lang mabuhay ng tahimik at maayos. Gusto ko na kahit paano eh maipagmalaki ang Pilipinas. Pero wala eh. Doomed to be jologs ang bansang to.

Endless corruption, endless griping, shitslinging and pissing contests between politicians, endless investigations of all sorts of issues without ever reaching a decent resolution, endless power-grabbing between parties, increasing numbers of lazy, stupid Filipinos, continual defending of useless ideologies.

The Philippine government beats the septic tank being sucked up by Malabanan hands down any day ? it’s so full of scum and stinks to high heavens. Is it any wonder the Philippines is one of the poorest, most corrupt countries in the world? Because they’re all rotten, they’re all worthless. They’re all greedy for power and money.

I may be a Christian, but I can’t stop myself from cursing and asking God (and sometimes even the devil) that they all die and be barbecued forever in hell.

Who’s “they”? Too often the government attends to the opinion of the masses.

We ordinary office workers, OFWs, laborers and everyone else working and paying taxes ? we’re the ones struggling to keep this country alive. We are the true heroes of the land!!!

Everytime I see my payslip, I see red and want to cry from sheer frustration. So much tax is taken out of my earnings but my hard-earned money is just being used for useless things.

I scrimp and save to support myself, my family and this damned country. I can’t even buy a chicken and spaghetti meal at Jollibee no matter how hungry I am. I make do with a 10-peso waffle, or if I have a little extra, junior bola-bola siopao from Mini-Stop for P20.

If all that money I’m paying for taxes went to me instead, I could watch a movie at least twice a month. I could have finally bought new rubber shoes. I could be having my own house built.

Most of the taxes I’m paying go straight to the pockets of corrupt government officials and workers. While I struggle to budget my money, they’re living in their mansions. They even drive SUVs and luxury cars, while I only take a pedicab!!

Son of a bitch! That’s my money you’re squandering!!!!

The taxes I pay are used to support the poor. Where does the money for housing and financial aid to the needy come from, if not the workers who pay taxes! But when you see how the poor act you’d think they’re being overly oppressed.

If truth be told, the poor are getting poorer because they’re lazy!

There are so many men hanging out in the streets despite their big bodies. If they worked as porters at the pier at least they’d have money.

And they don’t have money, but they keep having children!

Goddammit! You’re just adding to the number of lazy bums and idiots in the world!!!!

I feel sorry for those kids wandering in the streets and asking for money. Instead of studying, they’re just adding to the number of future criminals in the Philippines. I wouldn’t be surprised if the kid I saw begging in Cubao becomes a cellphone snatcher in a few years.

As for you parents out there, common sense please! You’re already struggling as it is, why drag others into the mess? Why increase your tribe!!

Just because there’s no work and no worries, you bump and grind all day and all night. Actually, it’s impressive. Even under the bridge or in a cart, you still manage to make babies! It just means Pinoys have talent.

When there’s a will, there’s a way. Even if it’s cramped, foul and dirty ? ALL RIGHT!

Another group that gets on my nerves are those activists, NPAs and all those other ideological groups. They say they really, truly love the Philippines and that’s why they are fighting for their principles.

Dammit! Well you don’t pay taxes either, you shameless jerks!

Hypocrites! So much for loving the Philippines when you don’t want to pay taxes!

Are there tax collectors in the middle of Mendiola and EDSA? Are there tax collections in the mountains?

You don’t have jobs anyway! If you had jobs, you wouldn’t be going to rallies because you’d have to give up your day’s wages if you were absent!

How can you show your love for the Philippines if you do nothing else but go to rallies or hide in the mountains??!!!

And those entertainers and the rich, who cheat and don’t pay taxes. You shameless bastards! You already have tons of money but you’re still cheating on taxes!!! It’s not as if you could bring your riches along with you in hell, your money would just burn there.

No wonder business is in a slump in the Philippines, because businessmen are cheats. Even the showbiz industry is going downhill. That’s called karma. That’s because you’re scoundrels.

If only there would be POLITICAL AND NATIONAL CLEANSING.

Remove (better yet, kill) all the politicians and political families in power. Boot out all destructive organizations and groups. Throw all lazy Filipinos on a remote island or force them to do hard labor. Separate kids from their lazy, stupid parents so they can go to school and learn to be good individuals and citizens. Have a new leader with no political ties and debts of honor to anyone. And above all, only taxpayers should be allowed to vote!

If we need a war for Filipinos to shape up, fine. People here have become too hardheaded. They want freedom, but aren’t ready to face the responsibilities of being free. They claim they are fighting for principles but are afraid to die for them.

(To those of you who know the anime Gundam Wing, that’s my inspiration for the new Philippines hehe. I love you Zechs! I love you Treize!)

As long as there is no radical change, the Philippines will continue to be useless and the majority of Filipinos will continue to become stupid.

With all the Filipinos migrating to other countries, the time will come when only a minority of the Filipino population will have brains. Talented Filipinos will have gone by then. They’re just too frustrated and depressed by what they’re seeing.

In a few years I’ll be leaving the Philippines too. I have no plans of raising a family in a country that doesn’t value the contributions of those who are really keeping it alive. If my future child had to live here, poor kid!

To be honest, I’m broken hearted. I did love this country. I kept on defending it no matter how rotten it was. I’ve already reached other lands, but I chose to come back. But now, I’ve had enough. I give up. I’m a waste in this country. My hopes are simple. I just want to live quietly and peacefully. I want to be able to praise the Philippines. But there’s just nothing. This country is doomed to stay in the pits.
