try alienware m17
pag dala nalang mog desktop.. yes its beating the purpose of a laptop.. para rana sa mga dato nga gagmay og lugar.. hahaha..
mura naman ni hapit ug portable pc although ang iyang formfactor kay laptop. ^^,
kato pud gusto mag lan party na puros laptop ayos kaayo ni...
Let me share my experience with this behemoth.
I have personally played with the W90. you're right... its damn heavy. Its a desktop replacement.. perfect for multimedia and gaming. the powerbrick alone is about 60% the size of an average cheapo voltage regulator. it will last about 15 minutes running on batteries.
This monster is a real beauty... it also comes with an ROG gaming bag where it fits beautifully. the bag is comfortable when you have to bring it along. It doesnt heat up as much as you think... the screen is crisp and the crossfired videocard is plenty fast... supports full HD resolution too.
it has all sorts of connectors one will need. the multimedia keys are very nice as they are not buttons.... they are flat like part of the bezel... but they are touch sensitive... kinda like an touching an itouch/iphone's screen.
im not a big notebook fan. but its easy to fall in love with this thing if you get to use it first hand.
I wouldnt mind owning one... i just dont have the money to burn.
and oh... the machine i got to try out was a different model but w90 family, it sported a 2.0ghz quad core with 6gb of system memory.
here are pictures of it with an Asus 2g surf (7" lcd) on it. it will give you a feel of its size. (sorry bad pics.... crappy mobile phone cam)
