final destination[/quotes
ka sad na news oi...time na jud guro nila, at least they were given a week extension
While terrorism is always a possibility, that has been practically discarded by Airbus and the French air accident investigation arm.
This A330 (and many other Airbus aircraft) had onboard systems monitors that would periodically send data to the airline's maintenance center while in flight. That way, when the aircraft arrived at the destination mechanics would already know what needed attention.
In a period covering four or five minutes, it sent out several systems discrepancy messages. Looking at the messages, Airbus has so far discerned that there was a problem with the airspeed probes (called pitot tubes) which may have iced up when the aircraft flew into a thunderstorm.
Losing reliable airspeed data is not in itself a big emergency. In face, there is a section on the Airbus manual that enumerates steps to deal with it and this is regularly practiced by pilots in the simulator. However, in this particular case, things snowballed and the aircraft ended up crashing. Exactly what happened and why won't be known til the black boxes are recovered and examined.
Shortly after this crash, Airbus sent out a circular to all Airbus operators telling pilots to review the procedures on dealing with unreliable airspeed. I'm sure in flight simulators the world over, Airbus pilots are being drilled on this.
unsa nay update ani? nakit-an na ba ang wreckage?
ang uban parts raman nakit.an pero wala pa ang body sa eroplano
hadlok sad bitaw ning magsaky ug eroplano.. but we have to arrive at our destinations as quick as the tick of the clock.. no choice.. hhehe
