hey ioch and giddyboy, wa mo naluoy kay rex ha, gipusil patay sa mga walang hiyang mga tulisan na yan. Those criminals will not just get your things, they will kill you. klaro mo kaayo n wa mo pa nakasuway ug holdup or namatyan na kamag anak kay naholdap. i am agree to vigilante killings, look at davao when duterte was not a mayor, it was a full of criminals, when he become a mayor. limpyo na ang davao, di n ka mahadlok sige lakaw sa gabi or even in daylight, maski magdala k pa ng mamahalin na gamit. I am agree with vigilantes.
Kalma lang bro, ayaw lang ka high blood. laway ra ni puhunan dire. Naa ra ba giingon nga pilde ang maglagut. Moabut ra lagi na imong posas. hehe... You put malice into my words mao nga pataka ka ug panghingan ug tawo, nasangu nuon ka. Karon mamugus na ka ug kinsa ang opaw akong nahibal-an. Are you becoming desperate? hehe... di na siguro ka katulog no kay daginuton unya kang Tomas ug makit-an imong post. hehe... Samay labot nimo sa akong nahibal-an if I will not devulge it. Maayong laki man kaha ka, discover it for yourself.
naluoy mi ni rex ui. kinsa gud intawn ang dili? but justice cannot and should not be served by rule of emotions. rule of law or due process has to be followed. if u cannot follow that, u r not doing any better than the level of the criminals themselves. in fact, that will make u also a criminal. u cannot right a wrong by another wrong my friend. remember, uwahi na rba gyud ang mahay...if u still want to insist an eye for an eye, then go ahead kill that criminal urself. but u have to surrender urself after to the authorities and face capital punishment. but the question is, can u do that?
so my suggestion: if u r angry, hit the mattresses instead...

It is this very reason why we go to schools and educate ourselves to become civilized and humane. What good are the things we learned in schools if at the end of the day we will just stoop low and allow ourselves to exist in an environment akin to the law of the jungle. Giddyboy's arguments may sound just like a small voice here (most posters favor the hired vigilantes) but that small voice is powerful because it is anchored with reason and not on emotions. I agree 101%.
PROACTIVELY, I Agree with you all, but huwaton lang nato nga ONE of our LOVEONES MAMATAY sa KAMOT sa mga TULISAN?
Or we can think REACTIVELY, if MAMATYAN TA, Diha pa ta mo FAVOR og VIGILANTES....
God has given us the intellect to think, be educated and civilized, control of our emotions and discern between right and wrong. if we act on our emotional instincts w/o being civilized and being humane, then we are no better than animals in the jungle...(sorry if i offend anybody here but that is the truth. and sometimes the truth hurts)
being proactive has no definition of condoning crime like vigilante killings or maghuwat lang nga naay mamatay sa tulis. ask mr. google about that...
the word proactive is to describe a person who took responsibility for his or her life, rather than looking for causes in outside circumstances or other people. It stressed the importance of courage, perseverance, individual responsibility and awareness of the existence of choices, regardless of the situation or context.
so if we take the proactive stance, then:
(1) we should have the courage to follow the rule of law no matter how emotional we may become.
(2) we should persevere w/ finding justice no matter how long it takes the authorities to find the culprit.
(3) we should have the individual responsibility for our actions (every action has its consequence) i.e. avoid situations where dakug posibilidad matulis ka or whatever, complain about the lack of police visibility or lack of lighted lamp posts at night, ask the community for cooperation, etc.
(4) we should be aware of the existence of a reasonable, educated, civilized, and humane choice. and that is to follow the rule of law...
