    hahahaha!...
better yet they'd change the session into workshop...
and translate the laws and bills into tagalog
as per lito lapid request so that everyone can
understand and perform their script roles well...
    hilarious!

Re: A Sad Day For Mandaue !

"Mandaue City Vice Mayor Carlo Fortuna said pulling out Lapu-Lapu City out of
Cebu's sixth district will not have any significant political impact on Mandaue
City, amid objections from Mayor Jonas Cortes who insisted that the city should
    have been prioritized by lawmakers."

    Dear Mandauehanons,

I am in full agreement with the Right Honorable Vice-Mayor Carlo.

Mandaue's being a non-Lone District hardly creates "any significant political
impact" on our city. It remains the same. We're still only just Mandaue City.
Not the Lone Congressional District of Mandaue City.

But it would have had a more "significant political impact" if Mandaue had been
the Lone Congressional Seat. After all, we've waited 18 long years for this
    right.

We were already eligible for a year before our Right Honorable Representation
started her 15 years in Congress. 70 Million a year is the Congressional "Pork
Barrel". Using a little math one would inadvertently conclude that Mandaue lost
    1.050 Billion pesos
    (15yrs x 70M) during our Representation's watch.

If we extend our little math to the 18 years we've been waiting for what is
right. That would inadvertently amount to 1.260 Billion pesos
that should have been spent for the Mandauehanon's welfare.

Please bear with me its taking a lot of me not to post exclamation points in
    this post.

Have you all wondered why these politicians fight tooth and nail just to get the position? Sometimes even receiving death threats...

It's because they want to be "of service to their constituents"... not because of the multi-million congressional allocations, and certainly not because of the hundreds of thousands of pesos per day they are representing us in the congress.... NOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!

Because they love us and want to serve us...

    I pity them sometimes....
