kana imong gisulti bro, mura na ug nag-ingon ka kung unsa ka-importante si red sa celtics... ang thread is pamaayohay man... asa man gyud mas maayo. para nako, wala gyud toy competition ang celtics sa una uy... sa panahon ni red... mao to ko mosulti nga mas maayo siya kaysa ni phil, kay mas maayo ang mga kontra nga team ni phil jackson.

although, i'm a big fan of the spurs and the bulls of the 90's but the credit goes to red, infairness with phil. phil is a great coach no doubt. they both achieve their coaching careers to a level that most of the coaches wishes they would have.
both of them won 9 NBA titles as a coach, red have won 8 consecutive NBA titles as the celtics' coach while phil won 3 3-peat, 2 with the bulls led MJ and 1 with shaq-kobe led lakers.
in my opinion, phil have a great help over assistant tex winter in using the triangle offense, i think without the tex winter's triangle offense, phil wouldn't be able to establish his name as one of the greatest coach on the nba.
red in the other hand as general manager and team president of the celtics, he won an additional 7 NBA titles, for a grand total of 16 in a span of 29 years, making him one of the most successful team officials ever in the history of north american professional sports.

Red for me
he doesn't have players like MJ and Scottie.. Kobe and Shaq..
I mean Shaq and MJ alone are 2 of the most unstoppable to have ever play in the game..
Celtics won championships bec. of pure team work.. they dont need a scoring machine(Shaq, MJ) to win for them...
and most of you guys are saying na sayon ra ang kontra sa Boston.... lol
