    ..question,

bag-u lang mi ngpamember ug fitness 1st, they said 2k daw ang membership fee, we paid 522 last 23rd of may kay la pa man salary so ngun cla okie ra daw tung 522 para ma.save ang promotion, gud thing at the time na ni.sign up mi, wla mi kadala ug card, so cge cla insist nga dal-a ugma mam, etc. The next day, we tried using their facilities, we brought the card and they said di cla ka.swipe kay call the bank daw, its a debit/credit card so ana mi nga next day na lang cz we need to contact the bank, gnha same rison japon so bale 3rd day na namu karun, may gani wla jud nila nakuha ang amung card (tnx GOd!)

ang amung question, after reading all your stories, pde ba mu bak out na wlay pag pahibaw cz for sure if magpahibaw mi dghan au marketing chuva ang i.offer, oki ra bah nga muundang?wla btaw mi nakahatag ug card didtu and great thing pud ky 500 ra amung nabayran, bayad na lang tu sa 2 days na amung pag gamit sa ilang gym...hehehe

Default Another awful story to add!

I signed up with FF at the Sheraton in Hong Kong while I was on vacation.

I signed up for 3 months, but I told them I would only use 2 while I was in HK. I would use the remaining 1 month when I came back at a later date. I gave proper notice 1 month prior to leaving the country to freeze my account - this was done with no problem...

Both my consultant, Andy, (852-6304-6363) along with Jennifer Jen (Senior Club General Manager, 852-9475-8935) agreed that the Time Freeze charge would be waived until I came back to HK.

However, they have charged me a Time Freeze fee for every month since I left and finally in January 2009 they charged me a full month's membership.

I went to my credit card company and had the charges reversed because I never agreed to those fees and charges.

Now they've sent the outstanding balance to a collection agency and they have since sent a threatening letter to an address that I do not reside at (it's my aunt's address). My aunt is seriously freaking out and thinks people are going to start calling her, knocking on her doors, following her around (this is all stuff she sees in Hong Kong television). The collection agency letter does not specify her name or anyone living there, it's just addressed there. It may address me specifically but I'm not sure as I have not seen the letter.

They are asking for about $4000 HKD which is above and beyond what I would pay if I had to pay the remaining membership cost. What course of action should I take now?

Should I threaten legal action? Should I just pay the collection agency?

I'm getting in contact with the FF office at the Sheraton and hopefully they can stop this madness.

Geez. Sorry to hear about this. It seems they're even worse over there than here. If you complain, they'll just point to the fine print. Have you talked to the fitness consultants you dealt with?

Fitness First... you get fit alright... a raging fit.
