Almost everything there in the bible is SYMBOLIC or MYTHICAL and NOT LITERAL! Before Jesus was born, the Ancient Mystery Religions have gods who have had experienced all the things that Jesus did. From his Virgin Birth (December 25) to his death, ressurection and ascension. These are some of the pagan gods (Osiris and Horus from Egypt, Bacchus or Dionysus from Greece, Mithras from Persia, Odin from Germany and Scandinavia, etc.)

All of us are gods symbolically in essence! Jesus said "You are gods"
