Very nice opinion...I think there is a lot of truth in it.

Fact No. 3: The call center industry is slowly turning into a haven for the “plastics.”

The movie “Mean Girls” glorified the “plastics” as portrayed by Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams. They are basically persons who do not show their true colors, and most of the time they engage in backbiting. Working in a call center exposes you to the world of “plastics.” Beware of those who treat you extraordinarily nice, those who appear too friendly, because they are oftentimes the same persons who say the unkindest things about you behind your back. Once I took an elevator, with two colleagues whom I will just call Gorio and Tekla. We made small talk and I heard Tekla say, “Gosh, Gorio, you’re so funny talaga…” and ended with a sweet, melodious laugh. Gorio laughed with her and got off the elevator. As soon as the poor guy was out of earshot, Tekla looked at me, made a face and said, “Gosh, Allyn, I hate that guy! He is so 'pa-bibo'… taking out our boss for cocktails just to get promoted. He’s so undeserving! Duh!” I wanted to ask Tekla, “Wasn’t it just seconds ago when you were cracking jokes with Gorio? And now you’re telling me you hate the guy?” Like, duh!
Hmmm.. I got a bit of experience on this part, although not mine, got it from the renowned "chep" of the buildings. I applied at Sykes and because they had this one day process which made me wait for 3-4 hours after each process (initial interview, exam and then interview) I had nowhere to go... so I decided to have a hearty chat with the "chep". And found, aside from friends (the "cheps"), out the truth about people(mostly from middle to lower class families) who got hired, that after a few months went a notch higher on their egos and of course the plasticism habit came in as a sorts of environmental adaptation. How sad.

*they ask for the surnames of syke workers who ride taxi's for purpose that if somehow they forgot somehting in the taxi*

just dont mind those kind of people nalang. just do your thing and huna-hunaa nalang imong family, himua silang source of strength and inspiration para di ka mapareho nila.

The truth about Call centers is that there employees should all need to take another drug test, because it is obvious that they need a clouded mind to talk to people.
