I hope i can answer your question with these points

Catholism and the orthodox church where once a one church but separated due to doctrinal and political issues of the time however these are the following major differences.

1. we have a POPE that leads the whole Catholic church, while the orthodox have there Patriarchs with independent patriachates since they have an autocephalus form of church government. yet they consider the pope as first among equals

2. We have a different view of the HOLY SPIRIT because of the principle or doctrine of FILIOQUE

3. We have IDOLS they Have icons of which both are considered to be valid

4. There priest have an option to marry before ordination, if they choose to marry they can but if they choose not and be ordained then are no longer allowed. while our catholic are not allowed due to celibacy

5. our sign of the cross are on the opposite

as a catholic. i have to put in mind that i have to respect all criticisms and thoughts of people against my faith and religion.


and i have learned thoughts from other people that the best way to defend faith is by living the teachings of your religion and being a good person.
