It was written by a stupid 12 year old who had a crush on his neighbor. For some strange reason, when some of his bandmates in high school got together again in college they decided to use that same stupid song, which the songwriter even disowned.

But some people seemed to like it. I am not one of those people. And this is a post from the idiot who wrote it. Again, my apologies.

I have a new band now, called the PURPLE HELMETS, and we are writing songs, and hopefully, not one of them will be as bad as GIRL.
