the best is to match the output of soundcard, para magamit tanan ang resources... and also mafeel nimo ang kagarbo sa X-fi set up... if its 7.1 then ur sound setup must be 7.1 sayang mn gud ang uban channel no use....

thank you for all the replies. pero no one seems to get my point. thanks anyway.
its not that people here dont get your point. prolly just dont have an x-fi soundcard.
generally, you wouldn't be able to tell much difference. Clarity and noise reduction might improve since you're currently on an on-board sound card. This improvement would not count much if you regularly use MP3s, WMAs, or any other compressed audio. Your best bet for spotting that actual difference would be if you listen to DVD Audio or SACD. As for DVD movie digital tracks, you hardly notice any difference at all as you'll have to settle with Dolby Pro Logic or some form of post-processing of the digital audio signals. Hope that helps.
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you
agree... ok raman gihapon power na soundcard then dili power nga speakers... but mahug na nga overkill ang imong soundcard, so i guess it's a question kung cost efective ba or dili... if money is not a problem, the question again is ma gamit ba ang full capability sa hardware? so masayang ra gihapon...Originally Posted by fish

naa man nindot nga 2.1 speakers... ang problema lang kay wala kaayo kay ma-notice nga difference sa imo sound kung mag x-fi ka, kung 2.1 ra imo speakers.
