Arrest warrant vs Lozada now in the hands of police

That's what made the request so questionable... why would a police give a person protection against a Senate investigation? The Senate is not an enemy of the state or give Lozada threat to his life.

again, what i think is not to avoid senate investigation. it is to avoid immediate arrest. and supposedly from Lacson too, i guess.

if indeed Lozada was briefed by Lacson... the police operation at that time is still so questionable. If indeed they are giving Lozada some help to avoid Senate arrest. The police is supposed to help implement an arrest warrant, not protect a person evade an arrest warrant. Even Mang Tado from the street corner knows that an arrest warrant was to be serve to Lozada, are the police that dumb?

u my also consider the Lacson factor why the police possibly did delay the arrest of Lozada. if im not mistaken, it was Lacson who personally went to the airport too to fetch JLo.

and u know very well the role of Lacson in all this, di ba? he is a threat to the other camp. Kung sa baga, nag lumba cla ug kuha ni JLo sa airport...hehe

that still put the police in bad light... just try to imagine a police hiding a person because he is afraid of being immediately arrested? Is that the work of a police? Hiding from an institution that is legal? good if he was hiding away from the NPA, but he is not. They are helping Lozada evade the Senate... be it an investigation or an arrest.

Because of what the police did and the style that Lozada was escorted away from the airport has raise suspicion. What they did is not normal, so Lozada now can claim to his interpretation that he was kidnapped, due to the fact that he doesn't know really where they are going.

yup. i too think that this puts the police in bad light. The police has explained that they did that to protect Lozada from threat to his life per Lozada's request. that's why they said they did not allow Lozada's friends and family to know where they were exactly for a few hours before they finally dropped him off to the nuns. as for exact threat, even the police did not say categorically.

But that something can always be manipulated, edited to something scripted to somebody's advantage be it JLo, Joey, Lacson, or opposition... what i think is that one angle is the police are avoiding Lozada immediately get into the hands of Lacson. why is Lacson even there at the airport when the arresting officers can do it well themselves? didn't u even ask that question? So when did we hear that JLo said that he enjoyed the company of his welcoming committee? Was it recorded in TV or in interviews? Or it was just Defensor who said it?

Yup... basin mahibaw-an ra jud through calls and text messaging. Pero underdog jud ghapon si JLo ani... administration iyang kontra.
