hello, just came back from subic
cebu-manila-subic mi.. promo fare sa cebupacific
we didn't rent a van, here is our itinerary for the trip hope it'll help you and your family:
NAIA3 airport - PASAY victory liner terminal (took a taxi P300)
Pasay terminal - Olongapo (bus ticket to Olongapo is P215) 3-4hrs travel time
Olongapo victory liner terminal - SUBIC Main gate (took a yellow jeep near jollibee with routes to STA RITA-GATE) Fare is P7
You can go down at the Olongapo Mall then walk to the main gate of SUBIC
From the gate you can ride a taxi (P140 from gate to Forest Complex) or you can take a shuttle P13 (but you have to wait, since there is a one hour interval for the bus trip, a green shuttle bus will take you to the forest complex if you want to stay there.)
We stayed at Forest Complex its near JEST CAMP, TREETOP Adventure and EXTREME Adventure (try slide for life in here)
Forest Complex will charge you P350/person for an overnight stay (the cheapest rate i think, its an old barracks converted into a mini dorm)
Places to go in subic would be zoobic safari, ocean adventure, butterfly garden, jest camp, treetop adventure, extreme adventure(highly recommended! P300 lang!hehe!)
Ocean Adventure entrance P450 for adults P300+ children, picture taking with sealions is for P350(good for 3pepz) P800 for picture taking with the dolphins good for 3pepz sad.
Zoobic Safari - 450 entrance , picture taking with the tiger P550 good for 2pepzz (not sure with the P550 though)
Butterfly garden (infront of zoobic safari, P50 entrance)
From Forest complex I suggest you go first in Ocean Adventure then Zoobic Safari
then next day would be the jest camp and extreme adventure since its near Forest Complex naman.

this is all.. i hope im of help..

SUBIC is a very nice place..
for pictures you can view www.reigneros.multiply.com ( i have my pix there sa among subic trip...eheh!)
