I said, if you are a Catholic, it would be God that said it's normal.


Then I said, if you are not a Catholic(or a non-believer) and more evidently since it is observed by physical Science, Nature dictates what is normal.

I'm sorry... my memory must have escaped me.. I'm Catholic, but it never occurred to me that God said cloning was reserved only for him to do..

Also, I'm a nature-lover.. , but wala man ko kahinumdum sab na ingon si mama nature na iya ra pud ang cloning..

so again, please do cite your sources that they said so.. or otherwise, just explain why you think cloning is reserved for God or Nature. Normal is a very relative term man gud.. what might be normal today may be considered abnormal tomorrow or vice versa.

My two cents about Joshua's post is, he is referring not just to cloning but also to the act of making a human being(or any creature) out of the normal process given by God.

okay, giving you the benefit of a doubt..

cloning is another way of making another human being or any other creature. but nobody ever said it was not normal. there are many living creatures out there who do reproduction by way of asexual reproduction, e.g. make a clone of themselves. it's called parthenogenesis.. an example is the fresh-water hydra. they are even "lower" in life-form than us, so why not us too?

Let me first define what Natural is:

in accordance with nature; relating to or concerning nature; "a very natural development"; "our natural environment"; "natural science"

Parthenogenesis is natures ingenious way of reproducing organisms without mate because they are designed that way and their environment and physiology hinders them to do so, it is still natural.

If you think gene splicing, manually injecting selected sperms into a fertile egg culturing them on petri dish is natural. Fine, let me know when the first edition of your dictionary comes out.
