OMFG! I just got my 5800 updated to the latest firmware version and all my hopes crashed and burned regarding the screen that displays LINES and you can't see a thing! I really thought the update would resolve this issue cause it's causing my unit to work 50% of the time only!

anyone else experiencing this?

OTA for version 21 doesn't work but NSU was able to detect version 21 from nokia. unfortunately my internet this morning is so slow that i always get cut-off during downloading. i'll try download again tonight with NSU.

does NSU goes w/ the dvd that came w/ the kit?
tried OTA yesterday @ Figaro hehe
no updates detected

i required at SM Nokia but then they said ala pa daw
they should be the first to know if ever

what color do you have bro?
that maybe a hardware issue. if so, you should consult Nokia Care.

@loner_boi, good to hear that. Im planning na on buying this week. which do yo think is a better color, silver/black, red, blue? I read somewhere nga magdepend sa color sa imo 5800 kung mag upgrade ka. I think I read that is yugatech. anyway, imo 5800 is v.21 na?

It's actually depends on ur preference jud.
my first choice was red pero nanihit man jud.
eye-catching ang red and it makes ur phone looks like a toy wc is in a way cool.

silver black is not that catchy. very neutral. simple but elegant.
moreover, silver black is the 3rd edition of the latter red and blue.

among the batches released, i was thinking the silver black one MIGHT have lesser issues wc i dont encounter so far @ v11 but reviews say that its not the color that determines it
