you dont have to refute somebodys belief or his understanding.. are you going to test me again?? i dont mean to bother but its kinda obvious to see that your heart is aching because of what I said,,, truth hurts arent youwell about this topic I woud agree that some are Gods will but some are not because of freewill..peace be with you..
I see your heart is aching. This is SELF PPROJECTION in Psycholoogy as Defense Mechanism according to Sigmund Freud!
Don't take it personally my friend! Trabaho lang! I am not here to refute your beliefs. I am here to search for the truth that Catholic Chrisitianity has a root in paganism and paganism is not really bad at all! Who says PAGANISM IS BAD AND EVIL? Your priests? THINK AGAIN!![]()
Am I a Pagan? Well, before when I was a Catholic like you I was a Pagan. I can also be called a pagan when I appreciate and worship nature! yes I love the concept of paganism! Even your doctrine of Jesus as god and the virgin birth who ressurected from the dead is a pagan belief! Do you know the god Osiris in Egypt and the god Dionysius in Greece thousands of years ago before Jesus was born? They have the same fate like jesus - who was born (virgin birth), died and was ressurected after three days! Thats PAGANISM Sir!! There is nothing wrong with that to admit that the church is pagan! What is wrong is when you copy the beliefs and practices of paganism!![]()
@Regnauld: Well, if you believe the movie Zeitgeist...Have you read some critiques of the film?
Anyway, back to the topic, it is very challenging indeed to discern clearly what is God's will for our lives. Maybe we can start with his two great commandments?
"And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, "Which commandment is the first of all?" Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.""
