Default Star Mesh-Hybrid Topology (LAN connection) with 2 ISP

    Good day to all!

Guys ! Any idea regarding the connection of star mesh-hybrid topology with two routers in different ISP?

Im having a problem with the speed of my globe router. I want to tweak the router on its maximum speed but i lost my contact with my friends. My friend told me a long time ago that the router can tweak even if it setup on its limit and he got an idea forum from this best site " istorya.net".

What we have right now is local area network with 2 routers, Globe and PLDT which connected with each other and manage with wireless connection. We already tried tweaking PLDT router on its maximum speed but i almost forgot the setting on it.

I want to tweak the Globe router. Anybody can help me to do this? May price

I have no idea on what globe plan we have here. As far as i know that the globe router could be tweak even if the plan installment is the cheaper one.

Interesting scenario... can you post an ASCII drawing of your TOPO?

Why do you want to tweak your router's speed? Are you suffering congestion? If you do, can you implement policing, rate-limiting or some sort of QoS for your important traffic? I'm not familiar with the specification of your device so I could only make suggestions here.

You can also implement load balancing between the two routers with policy-based routing if that can be configured. A routing protocol protocol perhaps?

    Hope this makes sense.

We already tried tweaking speed on PLDT router in Consolacion Internet cafe with my friends and it works but the problem is i forgot the settings on it. Â*From 200 kbps boosted to 500 kbps using RASPPOE rebage method on the PLDT site.

How many users are in your LAN?

What do you use the internet for

Maybe there are people in the network downloading torrents..........

Do you know the exact model of the DSL modem both PLDT and Globe.....

If you are saying the Globe DSL modem can be tweaked can the PLDT DSL modem also be tweaked?

Have you done bandwidthe test on your internet connection(s)?

Give me your answers to these questions

I might have the device that will work for you............

I can post a drawing on topology later.

I want to tweak the speed of routers so that every workstation have the same speed. The speed rate has its on limit, the more workstation that you have, speed distribution may lower quality of service because of the default settings of the ISP.

Using Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with speedbooster 2.4 Ghz, the two routers ( globe and PLDT) can be manage its connection by configuring wireless-G its primary connection and secondary connection. The two connection between 2 routers cannot support if are using UTP connection on routers and switch.

where is the PLDT dsl modem attached?

and where is the Globe dsl modem attached?

The linksys wireless G has only 1 internet port...........

tweaking dsL connections would be possible if you have access to the Communications Cabinet of PLDT or Globe this would be a difficult task.........

what are the models of the modems? each modem is different so different methods will be used..........
