He declared an $11M loss to Gilead Sciences at the peak of the swine flu outbreak.

Come on bro, you can't actually blame this guy for his marketing strategies.. How can he pay his expenses not to mention his attorneys to defend what he is doing? He even said it himself that he own acres of land.. so what if he is rich? he has to be one.. if he's not.. he wouldn't be able to do what he is doing..
