    sorry for getting u guys confused. 'heat' is not only concentrated on one section of the system. as i've said, ideally, POWERin = POWERout. If you have 300w Power source supplying a 250w load (CPU,HD, accessories etc.), the 50w excess will be dissipated as 'heat' or 'waste'. on the other hand, large-wattage PSU also have large transformer cores and heatsinks that helps stabilize the heat dissipated.

    Although its also true that you 'can' have a system running on higher wattage yet cooler compared to another system running on a lower power rating, this is because the latter may have lower efficiency rating compared to the other. Try doing the same test on both PSU with different power rating but same efficiency factor, you will notice the difference in the temperature right away.

    anyway, it all boils down to the efficiency of the PSU being utilized. On the other hand, why pay more on using 450W on a 250W load when you can save precious bucks when using just 300W? just a thought... (omg...this is so 'out of topic')

    mr Friend:

    i respect ur ideas and i can understand why ur acting like that.

    ing-ana pod ko ka close-minded sa una nga gamay pa kog nahibaw-an. but as i discovered more and more technical secrets not being taught in my engineering course and which we cannot find in the engineering books or in the internet, that changed the whole outlook.

    anyway, this is an open forum and everyone is free to submit his ideas, but let's not try to attack or abuse each other here, and it's none of my business also to do so.

    naa na na nimo to continue believing what u think is right, after all ikaw raman gihapon ang makaani sa resulta ana if ur ideas are sound, or if not ikaw ra man sad ang mo-suffer sa consequences kon half-baked lang ang imo nahibaw-an.

    so don't take things here personally, and stop attacking others here please...

    kon mayong laki jud ka, then u don't have to brag about it and u don't have to tell me i'm wrong, makit-an ra na bro...

    @friend just an advice!
    * Bro. you don't need to prove to anybody here that you are that good. Just wait until that time comes to you.
    * And you must pay some respect to others here in istorya.net members that they have also their way of expressing their opinions and choices.
    * And to tell you the truth, the way you give opinions is like an educated-arrogant person that trying-hard to prove something.
    * You must learn to respect others before they will respect you.
    * Open-Forum is for sharing knowledge and opinions regarding about a matter or things. We are not in a Debate here.

    Just take my advice, before you ruin your name here in istorya.net. Your knowledge will help more people here, and someday they will respect you.

    so ikaw diay ang natake personally cause honestly, somewhat like i am just playing around, honestly.

    and i didnt attack anyone here, just clarifying some significant things which i find confusing. attacking is very different from reacting, again, its very different from reacting as you can see my posts that answered/reacted the following:

    4. your HDD is very sensitive to shock/vibration while in operation, so do not move the CPU if possible while your PC is ON = although I agree that we should take care of our HDD, HDD manufacturers are also doing the part in making us worry less about taking care of our HDD. so i conclude that this part is not applicable for the HDD nowadays due to

    and...

    3. never settle for a cheap/poorly regulated GENERIC POWER SUPPLY for your PC, as insufficient power would be left to your hard disk after the processor has satisfied its power requirement. = what the heck you got this passage? "neve settle for a cheap/poorly regualted GENERIC PWER SUPPLY" = no problem, it has a point, but for years i always use generic PSU but got no problems. "as insufficient power would be left to your hard disk after the processor has satisfied its power requirement"?

    those are only common reactions for a common person like me. and, again, its only a normal flow of the forum, as you said "anyway, this is an open forum and everyone is free to submit his ideas"

    and, hmmmm, did i say im good? or better than you? obviously not/none, and i know that you have more knowledge than me. im just, again, expressing my opinion based on my experiences, and articles.

    anyway, apology if i offended you.

    @friend

    Why don't you post without reacting to others post, try that and it works. Reacting even in little things means you're up to something. Just be Cool always. Hope you understand what i am saying.

    (sigh)

    * Bro. you don't need to prove to anybody here that you are that good. Just wait until that time comes to you. = as you can see, if you really noticed and understand the phrases i posted, i didnt prove myself as good, i only reacted based on my experienced and what i found also on the net in HDD shock/vibration aspect.

    * And you must pay some respect to others here in istorya.net members that they have also their way of expressing their opinions and choices. Â*= i am. see? im also expressing my opinion based on experience and what valid article i shall find to support.

    * And to tell you the truth, the way you give opinions is like an educated-arrogant person that trying-hard to prove something. = see? it seems your the one hitted by this. Â*guess you even dont know what is really a normal flow of a forum. take note, forum includes debate where anyone can learn also, and i am learning. Â*mind you, its not opinion, just a reaction based on actual experiences. Â*i have entered vast forum sites and most people there have normal reactions like this. at first, im surprised, thinking that they are really like that but later i understand that its only a normal flow of a forum. as everybody else said "this is an open forum and everyone is free to submit his ideas" so i did, based on actual experience. anyway, you can neglect it at any time you if you find it wrong.

    * You must learn to respect others before they will respect you. = i am.and i know that.

    Open-Forum is for sharing knowledge and opinions regarding about a matter or things. We are not in a Debate here. = i am sharing and making reactions based on my experiences, and not debating. debating is very different from reacting/sharing. Â*you only just taking it personally.

    Just take my advice, before you ruin your name here in istorya.net. Your knowledge will help more people here, and someday they will respect you. = as long as I can help some newbies within the limitation of my knowledge and experience basis, its okay for this name to get ruinned in this forum. no personal means by that.
