@nixx and bluedes, you guys are totally wrong, well i can;t blame you, after all it is "YOUR" point of view.

resorting to the "God's will" statement to explain why things happen is not because they want an easy way out of life, it is because it is what we believe regardless of the comfort or such things you mention that it may offer.

    @handsoff
have you ever seen the real world out there?
not protected by your parents' or relatives' looking glass, but actually seeing it for your own eyes?
you have the comfort of your own home, of your own parents provisions..

try talking to beggars or prostitutes or those who have been abandoned and forgotten..
look at them pray for help at churches like Sto Nino and other old churches..
look at the street children who have no comfortable homes to sleep at night..
or even a simple 3 times a day meal..

try going hungry for a week, with only 1 meal a day, and not being able to take a bath for a day or two.. poverty strikes 80% or more of our citizens in this country..

nobody is saying that there is an easy way out of life.. life is already difficult to begin with..
but believing that there's a higher purpose for all this suffering that people are going thru sure does make the hell lot easier to bear it..

think about it, or imagine it at least by putting yourself in their shoes.. its not that difficult to empathize..

yeah... some of you guys need to wake up and see that everything happens because it happens...
do you guys really think that these poor, hungry people don't pray for food? are they heard? the people of somalia? do you think they are godless because they are hungry?
these people need people who can help...not open up their imagination that "someone" will help...

i quote Tears of the Sun, "god already left africa"....

@kit as i was saying... that is HOW YOU SEE IT! and THIS IS HOW WE SEE IT..

@every who keeps on saying things happen, FINE! i know we can't change your mind but please stop asserting as if you totally know!

this is the 4rth time i will post this.

IF YOU THINK THINGS JUST HAPPEN, fine you are entitled to your POV
IF WE THINK IT IS GOD's WILL,fine we are entitled too!

SO LET IT BE... weather things just happen or God's will, 1 things is sure... it is out of our control.

Why is it called will of gawd?
Why will of gawd? Is it about the divine plan? what are the reasons for all these things?

  9. #119
I'll assume that this will be the answer, I don't know.. only gawd knows..
If gawd does not interact with humans at all, it is of no importance whether gawd exists or not. A element which cannot even be perceived in principle or verity does not logically exist.

Believe me or not, I already posted the reasons why people do believe in gawds will.

Comfort, emotive response, spirit, meaning of their lives, removes the fear and the nonexistence that many of us experience, makes the life less confusing and much easy to deal with.

sorry to disappoint you brad, but i'm not an atheist..
you mistake me for those people probably because at the very beginning you thought my questions on faith and god was intended to ridicule those who believe?
    sincere to akong questions brad..

fyi lng brad, para makasabot ka more.. murag misunderstanding ra na imo diha gud..

i was baptized a catholic, i respect its doctrine.. although im not a fan of the current pope, i was a great fan of the late john paul ii that ive read some books he wrote because i am his "fan"..

it never occured to me to change religions.. i dont see a point in changing religions.. ive been visiting different christian denominations though because i like to hear what people have to say, and ask them questions every now and then, but never ko mu-cross ana ila beliefs, kay conflict ra na padulong.. look at all those jihad wars and religious crusades..

i respect people of all ages, creed, race, color, gender, sexual preference, status, and even the amount of income they earn in a society..

im just here to discuss thoughts and ideas.. hangtud sa ma-puga ang akong huna2x ug sensibility..
