now the question, who will u believe more, Defensor or Lozada?

hmmm... could be neither... would I also believe Defensor who called a press conference saying that he has an expert that will disprove that the Garci tapes was spliced only to be disproved by his own expert. That says a lot about him. On Lozada they could have been taken for a ride, and why were they taken for a ride? Because he has a lot of knowledge and they will try to hide that knowledge. It could have been all a set-up by the administration... protect Lozada from the Senate, from the media... but why are they very eager to protect him?

Because in my understanding... you are implying that just because Defensor field perjury charges, Lozada is lying. I was asking here if why people here are saying that Lozada is lying, that why in my interpretation... you presented this argument to show that Lozada is lying.

so sad but true... the administration has all the resources. Lozada could also be lying, but i believe he has knowledge about the deal. But the problem is this people know their stuff (corruption) that's why it's very difficult to pin them down, just like F. Marcos.

He is using the ever popular political strategy of the opposition of being the underdog. Maybe he will use it until he files his certificate of candidacy, or worse, until the Election Day. After all, he always portrayed the role of being the kawawa even if there's not an iota of truth on it.

He is not the victim in the circumstances because he was the one who uttered those contradicting statements. The State prosecutes those who lie under oath. He should have realized the consequences of his own contradicting statements because that would mean lying under oath in one way or another.

Those videos contradict his statements that he was taken, that he was kidnapped, and all. Remember he had a full account of what happened to him including the places where he was taken. Now, what I don't really get is why the nuns have to huddle with him all the time, clinging to his arms as if they were back in EDSA I standing in front of the tanks. That act was already done before and is not effective in the present circumstances. That is just a sign of asking for pity from the people. We should not be so gullible to believe that Lozada is the underdog.

Lozada claimed he was asked to go with the police... so he courteously follow, but after a few hours of travelling nowhere along the highway and this was proven true by the same police. wouldn't you be alarm what they are doing?

Lozada's claim at the senate (as i can remember)
- He was taken from the airport [video confirmed it]
- He was taken for a ride for 4 hrs [police confirmed it]
- He was not told where they would take him [police confirmed it stating for security reasons]
- all the places that they went were corroborated by the same officials including the lawyers, who by the way want to have Lozada sign a ready-made affidavit.
** The only thing that the police denied, is that it was a kidnapping and as far as i know it was not Lozada who always said that it was kidnapping, it was some senators.
So where is the contradicting statements there?

when Lozada was questioned in the Senate, (i can't exactly recall the whole conversation) he did not say exactly that he was kidnapped, he just said that he was afraid because the ride was 4 hrs without exactly knowing where they are going.

They believe Lozada... and I believe they are just doing what they believe is right, they believe Lozada is a victim of the current administration.

Lozada is definitely the underdog... if you are against the Administration, you are always the underdog. I think it would be very wrong to think otherwise.
