i commend you for your courage...but this is a two-way thread. we cannot choose the posts of whoever wants to post just because it doesn't go with our views. seven_segment is right - it's healthy exchanging views. though, this doesn't mean we're both against each other. it's ONLY that, there are certain things we both DON'T agree with. and i guess, this one is a good example.

I was set off when my elderly grandfather lost his appetite when he saw a butch necking a girl (who was obviously suffering from low self-esteem or recently heartbroken) in Ayala.
I was holding my self with all my will power because I really want to hit that butch really really hard in the face!


If you do not have any self-respect left; please respect your parents, the elderly, the impressionable children and the happy, normal couples who find your antics disgusting and inappropriate!

i guess, you're crossing the line. you JUST can't tell someone what he/she should do with how he/she handles herself. you're putting the person, ergo, lowering down someone's self-esteem. if you don't to see or hear such things, then close your eyes and cover your ears. if it really doesn't concern you, then why care? for all we know, you also do PDA-ing!!

for me, I actually have self-respect...and because of that self-respect, I decided to come out in the open. now, regarding THAT respect for my parents, i have a lot of respect for them...and thankfully, they accepted me for who i am and for who i want to be. in other words, they also gave me respect. for those people who want to be respected, then they should try to respect others as well!!
