bitaw. the business of original sin is so silly. i don't think god would create us to damn us. we were supposed to enjoy this life and not to be burdened by someone else's mishap

We sometimes forget that although God gave Adam and Eve the great prohibition (not to eat the forbidden fruit), He also gave us the great permission (to help ourselves with the abundance of fruits in the Garden). A priest once interpreted this "great permission" as an invitation to enjoy the fruits of life -- to live life to the fullest -- to engage in the arts, the sciences, politics, conversations, friendships, and so on.

Adam has a choice to follow GOD and not the EVIL.
