Possible? or nearly impossible?

Powered exoskeletons could be the future of this world. Just imagine a world where wearable robots can be used to lift heavy objects, help people in wheelchairs walk just like a normal human or send these human-operated machines to war. It could just make our life easier and safe.

But with our current technology today, what's limiting us from creating these exoskeletons is our current power source. For us to have these machines, we need to have a reliable power source that is compact, small, lasts long weeks or months and should be safe. If we get through this problem then we could just have futuristic suits all over. Ranging from medical use, industrial use, warfare, etc...

So what's your take on Powered Exoskeletons? Your argument could be related to the power source or you can debate about the ethical use of powered exoskeletons if they will exist.

i think i found something similar in a youtube video. It's still under development to be used for the US military (obviously). Last time i checked their problem was how to have an efficient energy source.

Now, my opinion? One company obviously has a problem with power source, and the other has a problem with power. The solution? These two companies need to work together.

I'm thinking of nuclear power but its obviously impractical. Who knows, a gigantic nuclear power plant could be fit inside your knuckle.

Does anyone know what are the current innovations of electricity/power with our current technology in nanotechnology?
