    Default Perpetual Devices, a possibility?

this devices kanang dli maguba, kung maguba gani, it would last at least 50 yrs, i have heard naay mga inventors sa USA, if this people would invent devices, n the government found dat this would affect d economy, they would buy it out n dli na sya ioffer sa public.

ambot lng kung tinuod, naa daw flourescent lamp dat would last for 50 yrs, i dont no if its true, the government bought the innovation kay it wil destroy d ecomony.

    i don't think so.
perpetual means forever, not 50 years, not 100 years.

Since there is no such thing as zero friction, no.

I think this is not possible in our economic system.

Nothing physically produced can ever maintain an operational lifespan longer than what can be endured in order to maintain economic integrity through ‘cyclical consumption’.

In other words, every ‘good’ produced must breakdown in a respective amount of time in order to continue financial circulation to support the players (consumer/employee/employer) in the game.

This characteristic could be defined as: “Planned Obsolescence”.

i agree with this, because of gravity i thnk hehe, i was thnking we can have zero friction in outer space, maybe we can hav a perpetual machine there, but the problem kay we cant transport d energy kay gasto ra kaau, wla pay sure kung nay ma generate hehe

You must have been misinformed. Standard Velcro itself was NEVER a secret.

However, "silent" Velcro (one that doesn't produce the ripping sound when pulled apart) is indeed a U.S. Government Secret.

I thought perpetual devices or machines are mechanical things that reproduces itself. Diba nindot? But from your discussions it's possible to make such things that could last 100 years or more.

I think all of you know that it takes thousands of years for plastic to biodegrade. Diba perpetual na?...heheheh...
