Default Increase System Bus speed possible?

Sa mga masters sa computer hardware. Naa ta ko inquiry. Possible ba to increase system bus speed? Naa gud ko karaan pc that was running a P4 2.4ghz/400mhz. So I assume 400mhz ang bus speed sa board, then naa ko karon P4 2.8ghz/533mhz. Possible ba ma increase ang bus speed sa board para mo dagan ni na proc? same sila socket 478 so mo sakar ra.

Naa pud software to check unsa akong model sa motherboard and if ever pwede pa ma increase iyang bus speed? Or mo automatic ba ni siya ug drop down sa 533mhz na processor or dili jud ni siya mo dagan at all? wala lang sa nako gi sak2x kai basin madaot ang processor.

    Salamat in advance

Yes you can, that is called overclocking.

mao gyud. depende pud sa imong board kung pwede ba ka maka overclock. mga old intel D845 mobos na 400/500mhz fsb kay walay overclocking options sa bios

minor overclock with BSEL mod..well, only applicable to processors with 200 FSB in which the mod raises it to 266, yay!

    **edit**

pwede sad diay sa mga 266 nga FSB but from the pictures, you'd have to kiss your proc's warranty goodbye.
