Outpost is not just about one genre. in fact, there's a monthly blues gig (last friday of every month), night for latin music, also for reggae and ska, and of course rock. and yes, the bands play their original materials, and also do covers (but they do their own versions). we are still trying to organize a night for jazz and bossa, but it's difficult to look for good artists that we can afford. hehe. although, a group of our friends is currently planning to form a jazz band. we'll see.. anyway, with our indie music gigs, we do try to present the more interesting ones.

yes, sometimes we have country music (Southwings). and in fact, our former host of the open mic (Rommel of Hawak Sa Tun-og) even have great songs in Bisaya (blues/country style...bisrock?maybe), great lyrics, nice melodies. unfortunately, he has to move back to the US due to a family concern.

yup Teemptation is not a boyband. 98 degrees pod started not as a boyband but nacompromise lang sa label

hehehe dili jud ingon nga sweto pero i know some boybands kay when i was in elementary i listen pearl jam, oasis, blur, yo la tengo, modest mouse, metallica, and all those 90s rock so when i heard boyzone, it was kinda new to me hehehehe...

i should say bring back Bob Dylan circa 1962-63 when he's still a folk singer before becoming electric hehehe

naa sa Sweden singer/songwriter who goes by the moniker The Tallest Man On Earth. He looks like Chris Carabba but he has the voice of Bob Dylan circa 1962.

i didnt hear something like that hear in Cebu. I didn't mean copycat ha. what i mean is the influence ba.

how i wish naa band diri cebu nga ang influences ky Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Gram Parsons, and the likes
