yes he(george) said his an atheist, but examining carefully his stand up com his actually against the use of god concept(specially the angry god) by the church authorities to manipulate people;
using god to get your money, keep the peoples ignorance intact by employing fear(religion is good at that),cause when you have fearful people you have dumb consumers,& the church leaders can continuously deposit to the bank.
im not saying also that he has religion though his message is so clear: be vigilant w/ the businessman inside the church, & if possible dont be fooled by gods middleman

You are right! On the other hand GOD does not command. I think the 10 commandments should be rephrased into THE 10 COMMITMENTS so that it doesn't sound like slavery to God's covenant!

the word commandment does not necessarily imply slavery. it can pose meanings such as master to followers, king to knights/council, captain to soldiers and most of all God to His people.

1. thou shall be honest & truthful
2. thou shall keep thy religion to thy self
