good point. kong ang application expose kaau sa internet mao nay "unsecure" nga application.
ma compromise gihpon ni nga system kong naay unauthorized person nga mo connect within the private LAN/WAN.
physical security gihpon imporante para dili ma compromise. disallow unauthorized person.
kani cguro challenge challenge ni cayetano is in the form of penetration testing cguro.
google penetration testing.
We can never tell. Remember, it is very easy for a hacker to hack a system especially automated systems like the automated elections this coming 2010.
I cannot wait to see this if who will dare to take this challenge. 100 million pesos? hmmmm...
Pinoy hackers show us what you got and let Cayetano eat his words.
Some people think technology has the answers.

Are hackers a threat? The degree of threat presented by any conduct, whether legal or illegal, depends on the actions and intent of the individual and the harm they cause.

I just looked up Mitnick in Wikipedia. I know some self-proclaimed "733t h4ck3r5" out there probably glorify and worship this guy, but in the final analysis? He's just a crook, and nothing but a crook. The only difference between Mitnick and a petty thief? The thief uses a lockpick, while Mitnick uses a keyboard...but in the end, they're both made of the same stuff--they're both thieves.

How can that be? Hacking is illegal. For a lawmaker, he's a fool to have even proposed that. The only best thing that can happen to someone who will hack the system is a vacation in jail.
