yeah! it's better to build your emergency funds first before doing any investments.
better yet, pay all your debts first.

mutual funds only works fast if you have high capital.. but for me its more riskier!! I would prefer bonds specially government or corporate bonds.

di man kinahanglan na mag awas2x ang imong kwarta.. MF are designed for small to big investments... the key is consistency.. dili pa dak-ananay.. over time it will grow. And if you have a lot of time in your hands.. invest in stock based funds.. then later on you can move it to bonds. ^_^

mao ba bro? nakasuway man gud ko ug gamay nga kwarta sa mutual fund pero gamay ra jud kaayo ug returns oi mura rakog gadula

hinuon it depends jud tingali.. pero do you suggest nga kung mu invest ug MF's kay dapat long-term jud?

mutual funds have a great deal of risk esp the stock/equities type. But you can eliminate or lessen the risk through time. it is really not a must but advisable that your mutual fund investment should be for long term.. let's say 3-5 years.
remember that the greatest mitigator of risk is TIME!

i don't suggest with nor recommend mutal funds kay ngano man? mutual funds man gud kay you're like putting your money to other people. unya mo tubo kuno.. usually ang mga in-charge ana, they will use the money to roll. invest into business, stocks or buy company shares. ikaw nga tag-iya sa kwarta, wala mismo naka hibalo kung unsay dagan sa imong kwarta. that means you're not in control over your money. and worse, ma thank you pa na. ingon sila secure... think again... di na tinood. double imo risk ana mutual funds.

if you want to invest, try investing in something that's consumable. invest into a business. the important thing is you have control over your money. ma dato ug samot ang imong pa kupton nimo sa imong money. ug ma bankrupt iya business gi investan aw apil ug ka lunod imong money hahaa then declare ug bankruptcy... aguy ka sakit.

unya gamay pa giud kaayo ug ROI. may man tog imo i invest sa imo business kay maka control man ka sa ROI depende sa imong pag bana2x sa kahimtang sa panahon (trends, demands, etc).

i prefer investmenting into something worth and i was able to generate 80% ROI sa akong 45K in just 6 months. (secret) hehehe. i havn't tried MF but i don't think maka saka ug ingon ana ka dako ang interest sa MF (correct me if i'm wrong).

    hope this helps...
