Why isJuvio using a photo of Mel Gibson, without his authorization, as an implied endorsement of their products and services, and with the knowledge and blessing of Juvio's CEO? Mel Gibson's attorney would like to know and is now looking into the matter.

The person in the photo with Mel Gibson is none other than Steve Reid, the COO of Juvio.com and a lifelong pyramid marketer who, among other things, says on this page of the Juvio.com web site:

that "he gained his undergraduate education at the University of Missouri-Columbia". But if you call the University of Missouri-Columbia at (573) 882-2121 and ask for the registrars office, you'll be surprised to learn how many weeks he actually lasted there within a year or two of 1980. His highest level of formal education is a high school diploma and the CEO of Juvio knows and condones this kind of dishonesty. What does that tell you about Juvio and the people behind it?

Juvio.com recently fled California and has now set up shop in Arizona.

More recently, they were ordered by several prominent publications to cease using their names, logos and articles as implied endorsements of Juvio's products and services, which Juvio was doing and is why you no longer see the logos of Time magazine, The New York Times magazine and the Wall Street Journal on their home page (call the legal departments of these publications to confirm) or any news articles on the Juvio or SpeakWithaGeek.com site at all now.Â*

We'll be hearing more about this company, but I don't think it will be good.

This company is big in the Phillipines and other less industrialized countries where people can't so easily see through their charade.Â*
