Sailfin lizards (Hydrosaurus pustulatus) are NOT Iguanas. They belong to the Agamid family, that of crested lizards. They're omnivores, highly aquatic, and needs very high humidity to survive. These herps are CITES classified, therefore ILLEGAL to the pet-trade (unless the DENR issues you a certificate that you can keep one).
There's no endemic species of Iguanids here in the Phils.
Acrochordus granulaus, the common file-snake??
