sir, dba kaning alligator gar kay mu dako man ni cya ug maau?? kung dli cya held in captive..how big will i grow kung kept in captive cya?? wondering lang..kay ang pinaka dako nga alligator gar na ive heard of is 226lbs. man gud..and can grow up to 10 ft.. yikes!

yup, ur right..it can grow up to 10ft or more in the wild that is why allig gars are noted to be one of the monster fishes in the amazon.. in some rare cases, reported or not, allig gars are known to attack human as well due to their gigantic size. however, in captivity, allig gars are stunted by their enclosures... esp if theyre kept on an aquarium and ponds that are limited in space. in this case, they can only grow up to 3 ft... there is really a big difference between natural habitat and man made eco-enclosure. thanks for the query.
