pero eh regulate nalang daw.... dili nah bikini open... duster open nalang?

murag na tandog lang jud ang garbo ni gwen mao ni kiha siya...
pina ana man siya nga eh dili ang bikini open..
pero nagpadayon gihapon sa bantayan....
and besides... bisag wala pai bikini open.....
mga nag lakaw lakaw nalang daan sa bantayan bikini open for free naman gani....

Organizing a "bikini open event" during the Holy Week and wearing a bikini on the beach during the Holy Week are two entirely different issues...

btw, wala gikiha but plano pa ikiha kung dili mo follow sa sunod. It says that it violates some provisions on Women welfare clause and the private sponsors could be held liable too. Guv Gwen and the organizer already talked to iron out things and next would be a talk between Gwen and the private sponsors.

it's not an issue of natandog ba ang garbo ni Gwen. That's irrelevant...it's an issue about following the law and whether the event is proper and morally acceptable especially during the Holy Week.

miss universe is a very decent and formal beauty pageant, not a bikini open...

ngano man diay og mag bikini open/close kun holy week? dili man tanan tawo roman catholic nga nag observe ani nga ocassion.

Garcia also directed all municipal mayors to strictly observe and implement the provisions of the Women Development Code of Cebu.

Chapter 3, Article 1, Section 5 of the code states that “beauty contests which tend to commodify, abuse, humiliate and treat women as *** objects shall be strictly prohibited in schools, communities and barangays.”
