    During my counseling session, religion is not important to me. I don't discuss my religion unless the client would open up and ask me about my opinion regarding religion.

    Yes. Religion is not a priority or issue here unless the client discusses his religion and I would just listen and accept whatever his thoughts and feelings about it.

    If the problem is some kind religious issue, then I would recommend it to a priest or minister for religious counseling.
