so it means you could be enlightened right now.. or i could be.
what are your steps to achieve this goal sir?
and what did you do to transcend religion?

    hope you share

do also need to be a good person in order to be enlightened? can i be morally bad and still be enlightened.
Pope John Paul II is enlightened for me and for some.

YES...You could be enlightened right now while making love to your wife or brushing your teeth.

Morally bad? In Spirituality there is no such thing as good or bad. There is only what works and what doesn't work.

STEPS? Well, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and that is AWARENESS.

In Theosophy, there are three practices to achieve enlightenment: 1) Study and Reflection, 2) Meditation or Prayer, 3) Service to humanity

In order to transcend religion, first you have to know this : "THERE IS NO RELIGION HIGHER THAN TRUTH."

Theosophy says, You don't have to LEAVE your religion. You only need to LIVE the teachings of your religion.

Yes bro! The bible should not be interpreted literally all the time. It contains a lot of wisdom and inner teachings. I understand the bible would cause us a lot of confusion when we don't know how to decode its meaning.

Our goal should be: WHAT THE BIBLE MEANS and NOT WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS as many BIBLE FANATICS are always emphasizing.

    OT: Hi Poisontree! Your welcome!

I'm not yet sure if I'd handle 4th yr. subjects since I've been handling Training and Development, Counseling and Psychotherapy and General Psychology Subjects. Hope to handle more subjects since I am only a part time teacher.

BTW, I work in my own Training and Consultancy group called "INSIGHTS + UNLIMITED" whose mission is "Helping People Actualize Their Potentials."

OT: I used to be a Guidance Counselor before at CIT. Who's mr. macky? We also offer free leadership training esp. to youth and some NGO's.
