Why can't we have signatures?

guys..no need to be worked up over such a small detail as signatures..i mean ang main purpose man jud of a forum is for people to express their sentiments and opinions diba?..simple as that..so istorya.net disallows signatures because of abuse..whatever happened,happened.

this issue is already been discussed... years years past,
your not the one giving them their salaries, so you don't expect the mods or admins to follow every member if they have corrected every signatures of the members here in istorya FOR YOU..

FYI --- wala kami mga sweldo....even if i am a professional forum poster...dito sa istorya...for the love of the forum lang jud ni amo...

@reiko....as a professional forum poster i have been to forums na super lax....and some nga super strict... IF i were to make a forum for myself...i would not hesitate to pattern it after istorya. many people have done that. some gani copy lang sa rules...VERBATIM pa jud even to the point nga wala tangtanga ang "istorya" sa rules. patawa.

i personally like limitations....that way...behaved tang tanan. awww...not all...only those nga mag take-to-heart the rules. just today i gave out several infractions. what joy...

what is that saying gani? true freedom is found in rules? or something like that.

or maybe cleanliness (of threads) is next to godliness? hehehehehehe

Pretty basic way to explain laziness, if you ask me.

Mod 1: I'm tired of running around and chasing people who break the rules.
Mod 2: Yeah, me too. Let's disable the signatures then.

It would have been better if you let the mods speak for themselves. Open your eyes, people.

I'm going to put this topic to rest and answer once and for all for the nth time why people do not get signatures.

People are here for discussion, not signatures. If you feel you need to express yourself, start a blog, use twitter. There are hundreds of other avenues for your creativity. Calling us lazy is all fine and dandy, but the fact is, if we have to moderate signatures, that is one more thing that is keeping my time away from reading topics I WANT TO READ. Yes, moderators and admins are here for the discussion as well. Paying members are given access to signatures because if they are willing to pay, we also trust them enough that they would want to keep their account in good standing. Signatures will NEVER be given to regular users. We've had them before ... there is a reason we removed them. Assuming that we haven't gone through this discussion both in public as it is now and privately amongst moderators/admins is ... amm ... laziness in thinking your argument through.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

PS. I sense anger in many of you. I believe a big group hug is in order.
