"Among the different commands under PRO 7, the Cebu Provincial Police Office had the highest crime volume with 396 incidents, 29 percent or 245 cases of which are index crimes, this year.
The Cebu City Police Office followed with a crime volume of 360 incidents, 29 percent or 243 cases of which are index crimes.
The Bohol Provincial Police Office, on the other hand, recorded a crime volume of 188, with 134 index crimes and 54 non-index crimes.
As for the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, it registered a crime volume of 178, with 99 index crimes and 79 non-index crimes. The Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office recorded a crime volume of 104, consisting of 74 index crimes and 30 non-index crimes.
The Mandaue City Police Office and the Siquijor Provincial Police Office recorded the lowest crime volume, with 61 and nine, respectively.
According to PRO 7 records, with more than six million in population, Central Visayas posted an average monthly crime rate of 9.99, a 23 percent drop from last year's 13.01."

a lowest REPORTED crime volume statistics mean a lack of trust of the populace on the police.

Correct ka dyan bro wala na kaau mga crime sa mandaue but lot of prostituions diha lang sa reclamation area bro kay naa diha mga cartoon girl ug sa cebu city sa SRP naa sad didto mga jackston girl hahahay asa nalang kaha dapita wala!!!!!!!!!!

This is true mga Bros. Crime volume in Mandaue has drastically been reduced since mayor Jonas took over.
It's a leadership thing. Which is lacking in Mandaue's IrO (Irresponsible Opposition).

for me, the volume doesn't matter as much as the kind of crimes that occur in the area.
volume = statistics
kind of crime = tendencies of the people
remember the call center girl murder? how bout the textmate love affair gone bad?
