    When using MacOSX:

    - Click on the Apple icon and choose "System Preferences."
    - Click on the "Network" icon
    - Click on the drop down of the location field and choose "New Location."
    - Name your new location.
    - Click on the drop down of the "Show" field.
    - Make sure you have built-on ethernet on the list and click it.Â* If not, you can click on "Network Port Configurations" and click on "New" then choose "Built-In Ethernet."
    - A bunch of new stuff should come out below the "Show" field.
    - Make sure you are on TCP/IP
    - On Configure IPv4, choose on your preferred connection (e.g. "Using DHCP" if you're on DHCP or "Manually" if you have a static IP or you're on PPPoE).
    - Click on the "Ethernet" tab and in there, you can get the system's mac address and place configure on automatic.

or alternately you can try this... it's a lot simpler

This configuration is for Mac OS X and above:

    - Click on the Apple icon
    - Go to System Preferences
    - Choose Network
    - Location is "Automatic"
    - Choose "Built-in Ethernet" for Show
    - Click on the TCP/IP tab (by deafault, you are on the said tab)
    - Choose "Using DHCP" for Configure for dynamic connection
    - Choose "Manually" if your ISP provided you with a static ip address or for some other purposes. When setting a static ip address, do not forget to place the Domain Name Server (DNS) kay di ka ka-online kung wa kay DNS address. No need to touch the other tabs or the IPv section.
    - Click Save and Exit.
    - Check if you now have a valid ip address (not 169.254.xxx.xxx)
    - If ip address is valid, check if you're online.
    - And you're done. Simple as that.

Networking sa Mac is actually more or less the same ra sa Mac. You just need to find where the menus are located. You should also try wireless connection with a Mac. I swear guys, dali ra jud kaayo maka-connect ang Mac. You'll be browsing the net in a few minutes. Stable pa jud ang connection. Mas stable pa kaysa sa Windows or any other platform.

    @shadowkenshin bai,

Naa daghan emulator that works with Mac. Naa man gani guro pwede nmo madownload for free online. Ayaw na lang anang emulator bai. If your hardware meets the qualification, you can actually install Mac OS X on your computer. Yes, you heard me right, it is possible to install Mac OS on an Intel hardware. Check out this link - http://www.osx86.theplaceforitall.com/howto/. Or you can purchase a Mac mini. Last time I checked sa BTC, it was around Php34K. Or you can purchase an iBook - around Php69K.
